Qi Zhou, Evolutionary Genomicist, Assistant Professor at Life Science Institute of Zhejiang University, Awardee of 1000-Talent Program of 2014. Dr. Zhou received his PhD degree from Professor Wen Wang at Kunming Institute of Zoology in 2008. Then he proceeded to work with Prof. Doris Bachtrog as a postdoctoral scholar at University of California, Berkeley. He has been working on evolution of sex chromosomes throughout his career, using models of muntjac deer, Drosophila species and recently birds to gain general answers to this central evolution question.
