2005        B.Sc, Peking University, China

2010        Ph.D., University of Maryland, College Park, USA

2010-2014        Postdoctoral Fellow, University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign, USA

Dr. Wang is now a professor of Chemistry at Nanjing University. His research program is united by a common interest in describing the structures and activities of biological macromolecules, including peptidomimics, enzymes and microRNA. The methods of organic synthesis, protein and nucleic acid chemistry are applied to questions on enzyme catalysis and posttranslational modification of peptides/proteins. Current projects include the synthesis and biological evaluation of cyclic peptides, biosynthesis of peptide natural products, and biological function of microRNA.
