Wen-Lang FAN
Postdoctoral Research, Whole-Genome Research Core Laboratory of Human Diseases, Chang Gung Memorial Hospital, Taiwan
CURRENT RESEARCH:
Discovery of genetic markers related to severe cutaneous adverse drug reactions and therapeutic response of skin diseases. Establishment of a database of normal people in Chang Gung memorial hospital, including 500 WGS and 1000 genome-wide SNP arrays. We also establish a platform of automated pipelines for analyzing NGS data such as whole-genome sequencing (WGS), whole-exome sequencing (WES) and RNA-seq. These pipelines work well on rare disease, cancer and trio samples with distinct inheritance patterns (e.g. autosomal dominant, autosomal recessive, and sex-linked)
